What it is
Beka Wigs sells luxury human-hair wigs — around 337 products, priced from $2,800 to $11,000. At those price points, every product page is a high-stakes landing page for a buyer doing serious comparison research, increasingly through AI assistants as well as Google.
The overhaul
- Rewrote SEO titles and meta descriptions for 320 product pages and 65 collection pages — the full catalog, not a sample
- Fixed the theme itself: title-tag architecture, JSON-LD structured data, H1 usage, breadcrumbs, and FAQ schema, so every page inherits the corrections
- Shipped conversion work alongside: Shop Pay Installments to soften four-figure price friction, and a Buy It Now path to shorten checkout
What it demonstrates: template-first ecommerce SEO — fix the theme so improvements multiply across hundreds of pages — plus the discipline to read search data skeptically (aggregate metrics can move for reasons, like international impression mix, that have nothing to do with the work). Outcome measurement is in progress and reported honestly, not projected.
